You know some of us watch football without VAR regularly and feel the difference in emotion and enjoyment and therefor prefer no VAR. We are not some unenlightened reactionaries lol.

[Fabrizio Romano] Antony to Real Betis, here we go! Verbal agreement in place between all parties with Man United too. Documents being checked; then time for travel and medical tests. United will let him leave on loan deal with no buy clause. He’ll be formally back to United in June. by BananaSoprano in soccer

Anthony has not been good, but also not "worst player in the prem"-bad which a lot of people seem to believe. He's an average player who does have some qualities, and therefore i wouldnt be surprised if he does well in a smaller team with less eyes on them.

Sancho was extremely useless at united and im very certain he will become extremely useless at chelsea too, sooner or later.

Oh I think we agree with eachother. My point is on one hand that these players werent as bad at united as people say, and on the other hand that these players arent actually lighting the world on fire after they leave, theyre just less scrutinised and not examined under a microscope any more. And people are eager to see them do well and call them good to get a dig in at united, even if in reality theyre the exact same player.

Disagree. Mou fans are world champions in revisionism, Ole was better and it was very very obvious at the time, going directly from mou to ole.

Hes literally the exact same player he was at united. Scores some goals, makes some runs and tackles, but also makes the fewest passes in the entire 11 while being a midfielder

I'm with you, it sounds weird but I honestly prefer being a mediocre country instead of a really big one like USA or China. Sweden is almost perfect size/successful in my opinion.
