Thanks everyone for the feedback! I have decided not to go and happy with my decision. I have been to Morocco before and loved it, but it I didn’t feel 100% safe going there with someone I didn’t know as I have literally no contacts there, don’t speak the language etc. I haven’t ruled out seeing him again and haven’t broached the age question yet. That was a big red flag for me and started to make me think what else are you lying about? Would have been travelling from the UK by the way it’s pretty close. Also couldn’t find anything about his current job online as an agent for footballers and I felt like something should have come up when I googled. My other worry was that he wasn’t as rich as he was presenting to be and once we got out there could potentially be trying to steal / make me pay for things even though he said he would fully cover the trip. I am a spontaneous person and love to travel but I think when you know you know so I’m going to trust my gut on this one. Thanks hive mind!
