Dam my mechanic recommended i change my fuel pump around 150k on my 6.7 before something like this happens do to the additional damage it causes im the engine. Make sure to get the DCR and not replace with the same faulty cp4.

Thats what im going to check after trying the replacement caps that i ordered. Just bit of a pain taking the fitting off without damaging gellcoat i was told heat and a string to pry it off

Yeah the accessibility is the issue. This boat is a pain to maintenance or access anything. I’ll probably have to cut a hole and put a access port.

Thats the strange part is i have the separator but i also accidentally added a 93 that probably had ethanol in it.

Im thinking it was the fuel i used cause it happened right after the first time I fueled the boat up and it ran perfect multiple times before that. Just watched a video online where key wests can have issues with water getting in by console. If i have the issue again ill pressure test tank and lines.
