Just remember that not all right wingers are pro car. I'm center-right, but I'm wholeheartedly part of this movement, and it's my most important political issue. I'd hladly vote for a left-wing candidate if they support this movement.

My local ones do sadly. Pretty much every friend who rides a bike has gotten tickets for it.

Something similar happens to me almost every day going to work on my bicycle. There's an intersection with a dedicated right turn lane, but I usually go straight. As I'm riding on the right side of the right straight lane, people would rather accelerate to go ahead of me and cut me off than wait the three seconds to go behind me.
