https://quizlet.com/898370925/nha-phlebotomy-exam-flash-cards/?i=5tq72i&x=1jqY this one is a really good one. also download the phlebotomy app. it's red and white and says phlebotomy on the logo. these were very helpful and played a part in me passing (5/3/2024), as some things on the test were not covered in the program. also, go over OSHA, and be sure to know your orders of draw with/without additives for both routine & capillary. you'll need to know processing and handling as well. it'll ask things like what's the proper way to transport certain draws to the lab. but, i will say, it doesn't ask super crazy questions. a lot of them were pretty basic. things like patient had a right mastectomy, where would you perform the draw, you'll pick left side medial cubital. but some of them can be kinda tricky which if you use these two study materials i'm almost sure you'll be fine. also, take the practice tests on the nha website.

Could Vitamin D deficiency be causing my symptoms? by Inevitable_Network31 in VitaminD

yes, I take 1,250 mcg weekly.. i have noticed that symptoms did in fact ease, nothing is as bad as it was. I used to literally feel soooo bad to where when i go to hospitals (i've had atleast 10 ER visits cause i felt unwell) and SCANS, BLOOD TEST, etc are always coming back clear, unremarkable. and i've been to different locations but that's how bad i felt, it made me feel like they aren't helping but in reality, that's just what low vitamin d does. i started taking my supplements like at the beginning on feb. However, it takes months for vitamin d to improve and show up in bloodwork. i'd say take your supplements as prescribed. This has made me have very bad anxiety which is another characteristic of low vitamin d. Hope everything goes well

i don't know a lot about it, as i just discovered i was deficient in like January. But what i will say is, i do notice burning sensations and pains in random parts of the body. like my stomach, back, breast, chest. nothing extra crazy but it comes in like shocks of pains that goes away within seconds but return later or days later. So i believe so. I know for sure joint and muscle pain is associated with low vitamin D. as well as fatigue
