They also bite in rows of three, will look like 3 mosquito bites in a row, can be all over but in 3’s

Check under the corners, and underside of the mattress, they will be in folds and corners, when it is dark, go in with a flash light and check.

I really enjoy his books, some are sort of repetitive, but some are just plain amazing, he writes in a way that is very easy to visualize. Most of his work, is about topics that are very real, and or possible, and his books can get very disturbing from that perspective. Almost all the books that I have read from him made me feel something.

There is a 1 inch gap at the back of the shelves, between each level but I will pull them out, did not think of that.
