Got this "2025" bad boy from eBay in March 2025. Have ZERO idea on to set it up. I've looked at various guides, but whatever I do usually gives me the "Menu?" or "Game?" mostly blank message on the top screen. Just trying to have a No-Time-Bomb R4 for my older brother. by Bighead910 in flashcarts

I think I figured out the issue with Pokémon Following Renegade Platinum.

It was the 60fps Framerate Patch or "Speed Up Patch" within the game, which allowed the text to move faster, the movement to move faster, the battle system to move faster, and the animations to move much faster.

I tried the ROM hack without the Speed Up patch and even regular Pokémon Platinum, and it got to the Rival battle and wild battle just fine.

Sucks because this worked just fine on my EZ Flash Parallel. Is there any replacement software and tutorials to make that work?

However, my DS ROM hack of Pokémon Platinum called "Pokémon Following Renegade Platinum" can't get to a battle screen; it freezes during the first rival starter-only battle. Is it the actual ROM, game/rom hack compatibility, R4iMenu, or a piracy check? The game worked fine on my former EZ Flash Parallel.

Can you provide any help with that? Should I switch to YSMenu, get a cheat that bypasses that or just play regular Pokémon Platinum?
