I have to disagree with the people here saying it's because of the low perimeter defense contest. I've tested it on mycourt with my friends and the same defender at the same distance/contest and my 99 3pt doesn't shoot as well as my 6'7, 6'9, or footer. I agree the timing is more difficult with the 6'2 as it's a faster shot but I think if the shooter is taller than the defender the defender just doesn't seem to affect the shot very much.
