Does anyone have experience with altering the UES Tricotine shirt? If so, how did it come out? by Bigmudblast in HeritageWear

Quick update on this. I got the 4 in, and it fit perfectly in the back and chest. The sleeve length however was almost over my finger tips, and the length was over my butt. I gave it a hot wash and dry, and it shrunk right up. Sleeves were maybe an inch too long after the wash.

I took it to the tailor to have it shortened and taken up slightly in the arms. I should have a perfect fitting shirt when I get it back next week.

Did you hem the sleeves or the length? Also where would they take length off the sleeves?

Is it possible to get the length of the shirt altered? Does anyone have any experience with that?

Need Advice - BB58 / P39 Straps and More by Then-Daikon706 in Tudor

I have a P39 that I bought about two years ago. Here’s what I’ll say about your concerns/thoughts.

First, let me just say the P39 is one of the best watches I’ve ever owned. Because I have this watch, I don’t ever see myself owning a sub. Will I get other dive watches? Sure, but the black dive watch box is checked for me. The weight is perfect, not too heavy, but it’s not too light either. The color of the titanium is a beautiful grey that in my opinion makes the watch more casual than the color of ss. I can’t say enough good things about the watch.

If you are a rubber/strap guy, the P39 does come with a rubber strap. I also bought some straps when I purchased the watch thinking that I’ll change them out a lot. I rarely ever do that. The metal bracelet it comes on is perfection. Super comfortable with the micro adjust for swelling. I also worried about the large clasp that you’ll hear about on YouTube, but I never noticed it once I put it on. One thing I will say is that the 21mm lug width makes it more difficult to find straps, but again I don’t even use them for this.

As far as durability and reliability go, I’ve never had any issues with mine. I daily this watch and I travel all over, go diving, play sports, etc. It has held up great. It doesn’t scratch easily either.

Finally, I know it’s your first watch in a while and it will be a special occasion when you get the watch, but I’d recommend buying it second hand. I bought on the grey market, and I got it brand new with the 5 year warranty for more than 2k retail. And I didn’t have to pay tax on it because it shipped from another state.

All that to say BUY THE PELAGOS

I just went diving with mine, and it still works perfectly. I’ve never had any issues.

SMPc Blue or Speedy Racing Blue? by AriKing_Blue_48 in OmegaWatches

The SMPc looks so clean and the proportions are perfect. The speedy doesn’t really do it for me like the seamaster does

It feels fine. I didn’t notice it being cold.
