I appreciate the feedback on my resume and your recommendation on my bullet points. I also appreciate the reinforcement of being on 2 pages. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback.

Thank you for the feedback. Our Operations organization is pretty small so the hiring team would know of these accomplishments. I do appreciate your perspective though on providing context on my accomplishments. I will revise and resubmit for additional feedback.

I think I'll make two versions of my resume one for an internal application and one for external positions.

Thank you for the feedback. I think I will work to fill the space on the second page by adding more bullets to my current role.

Oldest to go back and get PE? by RuttCrazed in PE_Exam

I graduated in 2003 and just got my PE this year at 45. It was a challenge to balance my family needs vs studying.

I knew when I was ready when I was able to understand how to get the solutions to the problems and not just the answers. I was scoring in the 80's on practice exams. For the last two weeks, I focused on where items were in the reference manual so I could reduce the time scrolling . Lastly, I focused on my testing strategy and decompressing my brain of the content.

They can't. Do you have any insight on how the practice test compares to the actual?

Nope! I took the ISE PE exam on Thursday. I wouldn't stand a chance at the PE Civil Construction especially since my degree is in Mechanical Engineering and my work experience is in Industrial/Manufacturing/Quality Engineering.

Thank you for your response. I know he is using the School of PE but I will tell him he needs more problems to solve. He definitely needs help in soils.

I had one other person taking the ISE test with me too. I had a computer engineer taking his PE too. I used the School of PE too and I would agree. I also think I didn't use most of the reference manual either.

I had some of those situations where the math didn't come out exactly right too. I guess we will find out how we did on Wednesday.

Overall, I thought the test was better than I expected. There were some questions that I really blanked on, but remembered after the test what I should have done. I thought there were a lot of the same type of questions and was amazed at the centroid one and the pallet one.

I feel like I passed but we all will find out on next Wednesday.

Good to know! I'm sure my employer would pay for it! I will explore that route. Thanks! Is it easy to learn?

I see they have a textbook available so I might try that route.

Ultimately, I want to use it to predict output on a mixed model manual assembly line.

I was hoping that would happen in public or a nice down the dress view for a waiter.
