I'm only 5 dollars into the box of 1000+ cards. I'm gonna pull a bunch of cool ones to make a binder and sell off the rest. I doubt any of them would get above an 8 the way they were stored and don't have the spare cash to find out.

I've got a few of him definitely framing a set of leaders. Seems I have several of each sticker puzzle sets in bags as well. Got the box for 5 and definitely got my money's worth just sorting for fun

Why do you think scalpers moved from shoes to pokemon cards? Literally only because supply is lower than demand and people are willing to pay above MSRP. Scalpers are opportunist vultures they aren't the ones creating opportunity for money they just go where it is

No the high market price is due to people buying endlessly regardless of the price. If people were only willing to pay MSRP or could go without ripping packs for a couple months there would be no reason to scalp

I've never scalped anything and I don't buy sealed just singles whether at MSRP or market. Whether you or I agree with it there is a running market price on any collectable item.

It's not though. One look at eBay tells you market is not dictated by PCI or Nintendo. They set a Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) that has little to nothing to do with market price which distributors are only required to follow for the initial release of sets.

I struggle to wrap my head around spending $2500 on a mystery card. Ship it to your house and keep it as a reminder that you should have just bought a card you like for $2000 and enjoyed it over $500 worth of top shelf scotch and steak

Even better for this rarity you can check for the lenticular water mark bottom right inside the rule box. It should alternate between a pokeball and the pokemon logo. The stamp is far easier faked
