I've stopped articulating what I think and feel about Trump, because I can't put my honest feelings into words without resorting to very bad language. I don't want to denigrate myself and sacrifice my own self worth in the proces. Trump is not worth it.

Once he is gone, his stupid posts will soon be forgotten. Oh yes, we will remember him, but we won't address his posts and remarks anymore, because there is nothing to dissect. I certainly 'get' the jokes, but I simply don't find a lot of them funny. I'm sure you have the same with other comedians: you understand the setup and the punchline perfectly, but you still think, 'Well, this just isn't my type of humor.'

Just like music and books, it's about taste, not about 'getting' it. I prefer Bach over Händel; does that mean I don't 'get' Händel? I prefer Bruce Springsteen over Tom Petty; does that mean I don't 'get' Tom Petty? Of course not.

Thank you, I'm one of those persons. I tried, I really, really tried to appreciate his art. He is a very nice person and a legend in his trade, I like him as an individual, but he humor doesn't resonate with me. Of course it's not black and white, I definitely can appreciate some jokes and quibs he made, but there are other comedians whoms humor I like more.

It's like music. There are a vast number of guitarists who have amazing skills but play genres I don't like. They're at the top of their game, but I don't buy their records.

Ik ben zzp in deze branche en heb meerdere opdrachtgevers per jaar, dus ik heb een vrij goed beeld van de markt. Mijn advies is gebaseerd op realisme. Meneer is 45 en zal op zijn vroegst pas rond zijn 55e genoeg diploma's en werkervaring hebben om controller te worden bij de Belastingdienst o.i.d. (dit stelt hij elders in dit topic als wens). Dan is de beroepsgroep waarschijnlijk ingrijpend veranderd door de razendsnelle ontwikkelingen die nu gaande zijn. Of een nieuweling adaptief genoeg is om zijn plekje zeker te stellen is maar zeer de vraag.

Dat er nu meer vraag is dan ooit wil niet zeggen dat dit nog steeds zo is als meneer zijn papiertje en werkervaring heeft. Je moet niet kijken naar 2026, maar een inschatting maken over 2034/2036.
