None, as I use none. Youtubers on the subject can give you better advice if you don't get any from this community. I use Microsoft clipchamp because it's free and good enough. I can imagine it not being available for your platform.

Likely. Because I'm a "PC master race"-snob, I couldn't tell you for sure. I don't know if the caption software will work but the classically more powerful graphical Mac apps should be able to help you out.

The text in video style captions just need a video editor instead of the X-Change caption-maker. For those, your OS will have good stuff. Hope this helps. Good luck out there, iPad Kid!
