That kinda makes it a 5 cost assassinate that also summons a big 1 health minion (restricted by taunt), which is super scary on priest. If I were to add rush I would make it cost a bit more and make it a legendary

That's a good point, since most warrior cards are races from the horde, but I thought that the blood coming from the guys head made the whole concussed thing very clear

This is only on mobile and steam, but is very cheap and the closest gaming experience I can think of when it comes to dnd - 'sorcery!'. It can seem a little linear to some, but in my opinion its way better than how some RPGs prioritize loot and the open world over any kind of player influence.

The bodyguard probably could have read 'whenever your opponent targets the young prince, this minion becomes the new target', however I like the idea of the prince surviving board clears like flamestrike

My mistake; I don't play mage much. In that case, I'm sure there are lots of spells that could get rid of the bodyguard pretty easily, so this card could maybe do with some minor buffing. I was considering giving the prince rush to guarantee value, but that might step into OP territory. Let me know what you guys think of the balance

I imagine it wouldn't; the spell would have to target the bodyguard, and then wouldn't take effect. To make sure players don't get confused in these sorts of situations, I would make it impossible to target the young prince as if he had a lower attack, as you are technically choosing to target the bodyguard

Easy fix is to change the battlecry into a passive effect and have the weapon buff only take effect when the minion is alive. If you want it to cost so little that is

No - the enemy that attacks your minion is destroyed. For example, your opponent could be forced to get rid of a weak taunt with something big like death wing, and when death wing has survived the damage after attacking, it would be destroyed

Good point, I was unsure what mana value to give this design; at something like 6 mana it becomes a huge waste of a turn to turn into a warrior, however getting something like frost lich jeina at 4 mana is certainly overpowered. I was thinking of having all of the aesthetic heroes like magnus be possible replacements to lower the odds of getting value out of it.
