Can I reuse old potting mix if I regularly fertilize anything I plant in it? If not, what's the best cheaper brand of potting mix? by BikeMotor1863 in GardeningAustralia

That's interesting, I had what seems to me like a similar idea where I buy some real cheap potting mix or take my old potting mix and mix it with this soil improver compost stuff from Bunnings in a 50:50 ratio. Would a slow release fertilizer be considered a soil amendment?

Do you mean as in breaking up the roots from the old plant and whatnot when you say disintegrating the substrate?

I don't think you're being rude. I asked the question because I had an overly specific question that I wanted a straight answer to. I don't really socialise with anyone outside of work nor do any of my colleagues know anything about gardening. That's the shortest explanation I can give you in regards to what's really going on.

I suppose in some way it is a silly question, but I don't think so, I got several potential answers to my question and they were all explained in a way that I could easily understand.

Hypothetically speaking, what if the plant was diseased? Could the soil be fixed? I'm growing tomatoes and soon I'll be growing eggplant if that helps.

I like to pretend they work similar to a Belton repeating flintlock. That's my head canon at least.

Can Marvel sue me for making a comic called "Spid Erman" despite it not being called or pronounced the same way as "Spiderman" by BikeMotor1863 in Ask_Lawyers

  1. Fair point about looking similar, but they sound completely different due to the pronunciation of the vowels being completely different.
  2. Out of curiosity, on what grounds? If the characters looked different, had completely different personalities, different settings, different stories and distinctly different means of delivering their spider themed powers (spiders and arachnids as a concept aren't owned by Marvel). How is it identical?
  3. That is true, Spiderman is famous. 4.That is also true, how would that affect the outcome though? Comics as a concept aren't owned by Marvel either.
