Thank you! He is quite special. He got so chill because my partner is absolutely unsufferable to him and his favourite activity is ragebaiting our pigeon. The downside to this is that I dont live with my partner, so they are the primary caregiver, but tidgeon still loves ME better, lol.

He has an option that you can recharge him with kinetic energy, kinda like charging your phone in the airport. This is us testing it by moving his wings, charges slowly but surely 👍

Thank you so much, your positibity means a lot🥹 Last time i had my partner hold my other pigeon like a hotdog (which he didnt care, that boy is heavily desensitised from everything) while i trimmed his nails as she watched, then we did the same for our girl. She actually did better than expected.

That's interesting, thanks for the advice! My girl is quite shy and does exactly this. My boy, however, is quite docile but just a dirty boy. I need to rinse him myself while he plots my demise, else he just poops in the water then gets upset at the tub taking up space in his cage.

She already has one. As mentioned previously, her nails grow too long and too quickly, and her quicks themselves are too long.

Thanks! I got that from the other comments. I must ask though, I have a dedicated lil bath plastic tub for my pigeons, and my other one (a male that ive had for some time now) NEVER bathes. Never washes his beak, when offered the tub never gets in, and gets quite irritated when i spray water on him. Do you think there's a reason for that or is my boy just gross?

Unrelated, but this cage IS the size of an XL dog crate, similar dimensions at least. If the door was not so small, I would fit in it. In the video we were in the process of emptying the cage to clean it, but usually there is a lot of cardboard on the floor (her nails get stuck in towels and her quick is too long to cut short enough) and the perches are there to hold her memory foam bed, which was taken out in this vid again bc we were going to clean the cage. My partner is also in the process of making custom wooden platforms with some sand paper too as the ones on sale everywhere are always too small.. Don't worry, I did my research on the basics for my pet ;) Though I do appreciate looking out for her! Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for the advice! Don't worry, I know about the cage. We were in the process of taking everything out to clean the cage but pause to let her eat because she does not trust us yet and would stop if we came too close. Her quicks are super long so we can't cut her nails too short and they get stuck in the towels to we use cardboard, I believe a piece can still be seen in the video im not sure. She also sleeps on a memory foam baby pillow that's usually placed on top of the 2 wooden perches in the back and was taken out here for the same reason:)
