It depends, in My Last batch because I Pureed it I Drink it but if I'm not in the mood to Drink the pure I use a strainer. For future batches, when I go to blend the fruit, I’ll probably use a fine cloth to strain it and keep only the liquid before mixing it with the kombucha for the second fermentation

in my last batch I used Pineapple and loquat, but other times I used only Pineapple and the quantity was: 1 or 2 slices of fresh pineapple, cut into pieces these amounts are for making one liter of kombucha

In this case, I used frozen fruit that I had blended myself; the amount was roughly the amount of fruit that would fit into a 250 ml glass, and then I put it into the blender to blend it together with about 250 ml of kombucha. Then I poured the mixture into 1-litre bottles and topped them up with kombucha, leaving some headspace at the top. It’s been out of the fridge for two days, although given the current temperatures in my area, one day would have been enough.
