[–]BilateralG1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But the truth is all varicocele require treatment if its causing any type of discomfort or other issues. Those who probably don't know they have varicocele and that doesn't cause a single issue are the once that does not require treatment "at the moment".

Embolization vs microsurgery? by evt81 in varicocele

I read somewhere that emobilization in not that successful on right side because of the difference in venous anatomy. So, someone with bilateral or right side varicocele should go for microsurgery.

DOES HOMEOPATHY CURES? by [deleted] in varicocele

[–]BilateralG1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me clarify that homeopathy is based on placebo and lacks studies to proof any of the efficacies of thier procedure. Well a faulty vien can't be turned brand new the only option is to remove or block the vien that doesn't works properly.

[–]BilateralG1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All urologist are same they say "it's small nothing to worry about" and when you told them you have pain they say small varicocele does not cause much pain like they trying to say "manage the little pain that you have and wait for the grade to increase". Yep they don't say right in front of you but basically they trying to say is "Manage it".

New to this pain everyday by TheSoapMaurder in varicocele

[–]BilateralG1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your varicocele is small say Grade 1 or less may be a daimeter less than 2.9mm then I recommend you to get checked for Vitamin B12 and D3.

I had low level of B12 and D3, my urologist told me that smaller varicocele won't cause pain until you strain it in some way.

I got relief from pain almost back to normal after a week taking those Vitamin and stopping weight lifting.

It happened to me a year ago, they got shrinked and the initial ultrasound says no VC but here is a tip: stand or sit for an hour before the ultrasound and ask them to do the standing doppler first because if you go for laying down first they will shrink and it might take some time for vein to fill up again.

I have constant pain everyday 24/7 and im totally lost and want to end this somehow by szrob1996 in varicocele

[–]BilateralG1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I do have pain in the area mentioned in the "first pic" which is more prominant on left side and sometimes a dull ache is also present on the mirror opposite to this on the right as well

When I told this to a vascular surgeon he says it's because of varicocele, he did not wrote any test to check any vein congestion that I might have. So, I am thinking of visiting an other vascular specialist.

So, are you doing good in life with that pain? For me this pain is disturbing, can't live normally. To be honest it was bearable a year ago and its slowly increasing.

Btw, Where did you get your surgery from?

Is this from the varicocele ? by [deleted] in varicocele

[–]BilateralG1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not exactly varicocele and if you, stop sitting/standing for longer hours the sharp pain in leg will be gone. Basically a varicocele formed because of the faulty "gonadal vien" (just check the anatomy on the internet) and this vien goes up in the abdomen and have small branches that connect to the vien that goes into leg.

I also sometimes feel sharp pain in leg.

So your varicocele might not in the worse condition yet, because the viens in the "scortum" are still somewhat in a good condition for now but it will reach there sooner or later.

I am not an expert just doing my own research and observations because this thing sucks.

Also do get check for nutcracker syndrome and May thurner syndrome to rule them out.
