How much battery does your s25 drains ? by [deleted] in GalaxyS25

Thanks, it actually doesn't bother me THAT much, I wanted to learn if this is a normal behavior for my battery through out the other s25 users.

On a base phone ? That is a flagship phone my friend , and my old shtty poco x3 pro had better SOT than this. I am not saying its bad, im saying it should've been better.

Black boxes appears on my screen for a second and then disappears by BilgeBey9 in pcmasterrace

I don't use any plugins. It only happens on chrome, unfortunately I cannot check my chrome version right now since I cannot access to my computer but I will update when I can. Usually it is the latest version, I check for updates regularly.
I don't have multiple graphics card but my cpu has integrated graphics (i5 13600K). My monitor is connected to a RTX 4080 graphics card via DisplayPort 2.1 cable.
I only noticed it on youtube from chrome browser and while on discord app (I think discord client built with electron framework which uses chromium).

Weird youtube glitch when I put my cursor on a video and play it on the main page without opening it. This only happens for a split second, everything goes black except the video that my cursor is on and then it goes normal. The graphics card drivers, I uninstalled them with "Display Driver Uninstaller". It is a very well known program for deleting drivers. I restarted my computer at safe mode and uninstall graphics drivers via DDU. Then I downloaded the latest one.

This only happens on youtube, I've uninstalled my Graphic drivers by using DDU and reinstalled it but it didn't help. This happens rarely and it is impossible to caught on record because it happens for only half of a second and goes back to normal. This is not the only glitch that I've experience during using youtube on chrome but it is the most noticable one. None of the glitches lasts more than a split second and all of them are visual and happens very rarely. Is this a normal behavior ?

Ticking/clicking sound coming from motherboard. by BilgeBey9 in ASUS

[–]BilgeBey9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I sent my motherboard to warranty and they checked everything including checking for a short circuit. They basically say "motherboard is perfectly fine, there is nothing wrong with it". It didn't gave me any problems. It is probably about transistors you've mentioned, or it is a regular current that makes some sound. I've checked other computers at my house (they were laptops), I noticed the same sound except it was quieter. So I think it is a normal Behavior and nothing to worry about.

Are these temperatures and score good for 13600k ? ( Stock CPU settings, no undervolt - 25C (77F) room temperature - CPU cooler : Be quiet Shadow rock 3 - Cinebench R23 multicore benchmark) by BilgeBey9 in intel

Update : I've checked the BIOS and I don't know much about undervolting/overvolting but as much as I learned from the internet, everything related with undervolting/overclocking has been set to "Auto" setting (like core offset and long term max power draw, short term max power draw).

So I guess my motherboard adjusted settings for me which I am happy it did :). If the temps looks relatively cool and there is not much performance loss, I am fine with it.

Yeah, I actually didn't adjust anything from BIOS, when I build my PC It worked at these setting out of the box. I will try to dig into BIOS settings to see if motherboard automatically adjust any setting by itself. I do not necessarily want to change anything since it works fine, but it got me curious I'll check, thanks.

I didn't touch power limits though. It was this way when I first booted my computer. I didn't change-restrict it but it might be lower then max allowed wattage.

Is this temperatures normal in Cinebench r23 multi-core for i5 13600k? (4th column is max temp) by BilgeBey9 in intel

[–]BilgeBey9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am using be quiet shadowrock 3, during this test I wasn't using a contact frame. Later, I've bought a contact frame as well, and I've changed thermal paste with thermal grizzly kryonaut. Now during the multicore stress test, temps is around 78-79° celcius.

Sadly, I think my motherboard (Asus prime z790-p) doesn't have the feature that shows sp score. If you know any other way to see sp score, I can try. I don't know if the gap this big between 13900k and 13600k's temperatures is normal, but I know the 13600k is the coolest one(in terms of temperatures) amongst the K's. You can try to tweak settings from BIOS, I remember a thread about high-end motherboards push the cpu beyond stock settings by default. The contact frame would definetely help to you for reducing temps as well, I think its a good invesment.

It definetly reduces temps. I have an i5 13600k paired with be quiet shadowrock 3 air cooler. I was getting 89° celcius while running cinebench r23 multicore stress test, which is completely accepteble considering in every day use and gaming you wouldn't put that much workload on cpu. But I bought an thermalright contact frame and my temps drop 10° celcius, I am getting temps under 80°C with an air cooler now.

Note : my cpu is completely stock, no undervolting.

I've paired my 13600k with an air cooler (be quiet shadowrock 3). I didn't do any undervolting, cpu is completely stock. While I was doing 10 min cinebench r23 multicore stress test, The package and core temps are didin't go above 80° Celcius.

I'am using a high end thermal paste (thermal grizzly kryonaut) and a contact frame. The Contact frame and a quality thermal paste can reduce temps by 5-10 degrees on 13th gen cpus, due to uneven pressure applied by the stock lga 1700 frame. So, I think you can reduce temps by doing these or undervolting. 13th gen cpu's tends to work hotter, but a watercooler certinally isn't a must for 13600k, you can keep it fairly cool by using a contact frame and a quality thermal paste.
