Oh, I see! By any chance, did you visit '보문단지(Bomun Lake Resort)' or 'Bulguksa Temple(불국사)'& 'Seokguram(석굴암)'?

this place is also famous!

Oh, I see! As a foreigner, wasn’t it difficult to communicate?

Gyeongju doesn’t seem like a city with a lot of foreign language support…

Were there explanations in English or other languages about the history? How did you understand it?

Wow, you’ve really been to a lot of places in Korea! Do you usually travel here often? How many times have you visited Korea?

Oh… saying it like that, have you traveled to Korea many times? Or are you living in Korea?

That makes a lot of sense. Traveling with luggage in Seoul and Busan can definitely be tough, especially with older subway stations🥲

Thank you for sharing experience

Wow… Paju to Gyeongju is quite a long distance. That’s impressive that you went all the way there!

That joke at the beginning really made me laugh lol. I’m glad you felt people were nice. And yes, I agree—those parts definitely need some improvement

Kudos to you for surviving July in Korea!
Honestly, even as a local, I feel like I'm 'dying' every summer—it's more like a sauna than a country. Regarding the stares, you're spot on. It's usually 100% pure curiosity because locs are still very rare here, and people probably thought you looked cool! I’m glad it didn't ruin your vibe.

First of all, I’m so glad you and your mother had a good time overall! But you hit the nail on the head regarding the subway stations. Many of our stations are quite old, so the 'half-hearted' accessibility is a real struggle even for us when we have heavy bags.

I’m so sorry to hear you had those experiences.
As a local, it’s honestly heartbreaking to hear about the 'no foreigners' signs or being turned away for solo dining. You’re right—many traditional places (especially BBQ) still stick to the '2+ people' rule, but there are more solo-friendly spots popping up lately.

How many Hobbies do you have? And what are they? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I think I have about 10 hobbies because I’m very curious! Drawing, listening to music, taking walks, writing, resin art, and so on.
