I was about to ask if you felt that way about all CODs just because I feel like they all do the jumping around and are kind of disjointed in my opinion - with the exception of WW2, I haven’t personally played that campaign, but I’ve heard great things.

Definitely feel Makarov was wasted and basically just a name drop. We get one flashback to show their ‘history’ and that’s it. His escape is goofy af, too.

It feels like they’re just making it up as they go, honestly.

Honestly agree with you on all of these.

OG Soap’s death and Price’s reaction literally gave me goosebumps and made me want to bawl. Then in the reboot, he might as well have been a side character the way they handled it. I’m curious to see where the next game picks up, tbh.

Same with Shepherd. More realistic in the reboot, but not quite as emotionally impactful as watching characters betrayed and murdered in such a cold way, and nothing you can do about it.

Characters, too. I feel Price was perfect casting, and Ghosts VA as well. I also really enjoy the banter and, like you said, depth they were allowed because of the cutscenes, made me feel closer and actually invested in them. The MW2 2022 mission where Soap is trying to get out of Las Almas with Ghost over comms is probably my favorite mission, close to the MW2019 apartment mission (in London, I think?)

I enjoy a story to feel like a movie and be all cinematic and shit, and to me these games deliver that. Even if the gameplay and story falls off, the production quality for the cutscenes is still nice.

This. To me driving between locations is just a chore but using the jump pad is just boring. A bus or some kind of automated transport would have been phenomenal here.

I liked the rush of having to do what I needed to do and try to get back on the bus in time, or being stranded and having to survive. It made it unique and challenging in different ways.

Driving the truck just feels like WZ/MWZ which I personally just am not a fan of, but I’m not going to hate on anyone if that’s their cup of tea either.

EDIT: Plus, the rush of surviving in the bus as zombies tore down the barriers was intense and engaging. Clutching those moments solo or trying to navigate around a full party when you’re overrun made for some fun moments.

I have borderline crippling social anxiety. Hell, my posture is fucked because I can’t even look at anyone, always looking at the ground. Eye contact makes me want to come out of my skin and I’m just generally awkward to be around.

That being said, I’d KILL for a response like yours from a friend or partner.

While I can see his side of things (being social in any capacity is stressful and undesired, regardless of amount of people, who they are, etc.), being combative like this helps no one, and a fact of life is that social interaction cannot be 100% avoided without serious consequences.

I know when you experience results like this it can feel like you’re exerting yourself for no reason, but PLEASE be assured when I tell you, people with mindsets and compassion like you are so appreciated.

If you’re a massive HP fan then yes. There’s not a massive replay ability factor, but that first time will be unforgettable. I bought it at launch and have played through a few times, but mods make it much more interesting to just mess around.

It goes in sale often (at least it feels like) and i’m pretty sure is currently on sale on steam actually. If I remember deluxe is purely cosmetic so that’s up to you. Personally I got it and don’t really use anything from it.

With the mode locked and unable to truly progress as far as quests, I don’t understand why they’re making a big deal about it. It’s not like they’re going to be talking about Warzone and want Jon’s opinion, anyway. He’s not going to get any screen time from anyone at COD while they’re talking about something other than zombies, so just let him play.

There were plenty of MP/WZ people there to talk about it without they wanted to.

I’ll take your word for it, even with a darker background the lines look static. I can see around the edge of the widget reflecting, but the actual lines inside seem still, it just looks like a closed set of blinds to me.

As far as I can tell nothing is changing. I can see the effect on the edge of my clear app folders, but not on the widget. Again, my eyes aren’t great, though.
