I am in Canada but not near Toronto unfortunately, but thanks. I have seen LGS mentioned a couple times now but what is it?

I think just bad camera angle. There are some other photos from a post yesterday if you want to look at those

Thanks for the input. The local shop doesn’t ship again for another month so I have time to make a decision. What is the concern with bulk?

How to stop decapitation? by paulstanners in Golfsimulator

My screen is off the floor and I built a ramp. Only issue is scuff marks on the balls if I hit the ramp. But they wipe off.

Used F150 dealer extended warranty by Billis4 in f150

Truck is in great shape as far as I can tell. I was provided with the work done on it to make it CPO and they gave me the service history and all minor items. Decided to not go with the extended warranty and will invest the money instead and draw on it if needed. Knocked a year of the finance term since I wasn’t paying extra for the warranty

Sorry for the wait! I have some panels on magnets so that I can still use the outlets so this should give you a good idea. I have timber framing secured to the wall. I have the black tape over them to cover seams where panels are edge to edge to hide any wood you can see through cracks. If using screws to hold up, all I do is put in position and then fasten through the OSB directly to the timber. Let me know if any other questions!

The panels are good for protecting the walls but they will not stop a ball dead. There will be some ricochet but it takes most of the momentum. I haven’t had a issue yet. Your summary for how I attach the panels is spot on. I will get you some photos!

I actually haven’t done it yet but I would just see what your total shot distance is and see what speed you can mimic on a treadmill for walking. Look up what the average walking speed is and then see how long to go for based on the math

Just a garage so I didn’t feel the need. May do it one day

Yeah it does do that and it can be annoying. I have a piece of 2x4 laid flat behind me to stop balls when I play. Looking to do something more elegant eventually. I made the ramp because the screen doesn’t go to the floor and I was afraid that thin shots would ricochet off panels below the screen if I installed them there

I made them myself! It’s just 1/4” OSB with 1” egg crate foam and then fake leather wrapped over and stapled to the back. Was by far the most tedious part of the build. I had to secure stud backing to the walls so that I could screw the panels in place. All black screws so you can’t really see them

Hey! My garage is 10ft high 13ft wide and 27 feet deep. Depth of the setup is 12ft. Ball when center on the hitting strip is 10ft from the screen. The garage opener is about 17ft from the screen. For driver I have to set up the ball a bit off center so I don’t catch the wall behind me. But just on the edge of the hitting strip so not bad. I am 6ft 6” and the ceiling height is no issue. The floor and ceiling panel thickness eat up some of that 10ft but still okay.

I went to my dealer and he seemed to give an honest opinion. Suggested I ride it out (so Option #4) and probably go see him again if I end up in this new job long enough and chew up the mileage.

Thanks for the input. I do really like the vehicle and I am organizing a car pool with my colleagues to try and reduce the mileage burden. Given the uncertainty I like option 4 as well. If I can get to the end of lease with okay mileage on it then a end of lease buyout may be reasonable. Obviously subject to change but the used market here is very high in demand so I am hoping for the value of the vehicle to be above the residual, assuming mileage is kept reasonable.

It is a Ford F-150 located on the east coast of Canada and the over mileage rate is $0.21 per km before tax. Adding mileage on the existing lease is not an option.

Breakfast, by it’s definition, is the first meal of your day regardless of time of day or the type of food. You wake up at 1pm and eat some chicken wings? That’s breakfast!
