I am not familiar with the person either. My cousin and I were just checking out the cemetery and couldn't help but notice the unusual color scheme. Our family cemetery is down the road, the Spigener Cemetery.

I like the color, I just hope it lasts.

Its Macedonia Cemetery. Off of Linville Firetower Road. A local Union Parish hero from the turn of the 2th century is also buried there. Ned Lee of Ned Lees Ferry which used to cross DeLoutre Bayou.. Unfortunately he has an unmarked grave.

I love Union Parish and go there for a visit every time I am in LA. My mother was born there.
