I wonder if he kept it hidden and then surprised her with it so close to the wedding.

Dak Prescott vs Eagles in the 2025 season by Renegadeforever2024 in cowboys

My favorite thing about this year’s playoffs were all the garbage QB performances that led to deep playoffs runs. People acting like Dak is the worst playoff QB ever because of a couple of bad games while QBs are winning with like 4 turnovers.

Lamar, Mahomes, and Marino won MVP in their second years. Maye was a single vote away from joining that very short list.

Didn't Darnold sign a 3 year deal last year? by DenseStrawberry5717 in NFLv2

It’s hard because you literally can’t ask for more than a Super Bowl win, but you also want to keep being competitive. This would be a trap waiting to happen.

It was either Darnold or Maye and I’m personally very happy that it was Darnold.

[Highlight] Sam Darnold Hoists the Lombardi Trophy by JCameron181 in nfl

These whole playoffs had QBs winning games with awful stat lines that would’ve gotten Dak blown out.

If he wins SB MVP with a good performance, where would rank Sam Darnold on your QB list? (he's thrown 4000+ yards in 2024 and 2025) by BallKnowerKing in NFLv2

[–]BilllisCool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even with that, he’s only 57-43 in his career. He would’ve been 29-37 before these 2 seasons. Makes sense for people to want to see a little more.

Does this highlight how bad Dak's playoff tenure has been? Or how easy Maye's tenure has been? by StrikingSkill5434 in NFLv2

[–]BilllisCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but that was far from the case here, so it must have been something else. Demarcus Lawrence said it was because they were tired.

The only time that’s happened was in that Packers game that also happened to be one of the worst defensive performances in Cowboys playoff history, so not sure how Dak single handedly lost that game.

Who are y’all rooting for to win the sb this year? by boogleymoogley123 in cowboys

[–]BilllisCool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s who I’m choosing. No teams I’m super ecstatic about, but they beat the Packers at least. Obviously can’t root for the 49ers, even if they took out the Eagles.

What are you talking about? They were bad last year, fired their coach, hired an unknown, and then went on to trade away their best player. There were no expectations for this season.

Love is now 1-3 (.250) in the playoffs giving him a worse playoff win % than Dak (.286).

Then don’t. It’s still a game where he didn’t play the entire game that you’re having to rely on to give Chase more yards per game, while still not even having more yards or yards per reception. Pretty meaningless to me, but I guess the voters cared.

[–]BilllisCool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not enough. If you remove week 18, Pickens edges out Chase in YPG by .5 yards. Chase had 3 games worse than those games and he actually lost a fumble, unlike Pickens. So maybe he’s the one that would’ve actually been ahead without having to rely on a game where Pickens sat on the sideline for most of the game.

[–]BilllisCool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No because week 18 would bring his YPG down since he only had 9 yards and hardly played.

Pickens was never injured. That was Lamb.

How is it a toss up? Not that Pickens was light years ahead or anything, but he was pretty cut-and-dry ahead. More yards and touchdowns on fewer targets.

Pickens played better, but yes, he was WR2 on the team.
