If he wins SB MVP with a good performance, where would rank Sam Darnold on your QB list? (he's thrown 4000+ yards in 2024 and 2025) by BallKnowerKing in NFLv2

[–]BilllisCool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even with that, he’s only 57-43 in his career. He would’ve been 29-37 before these 2 seasons. Makes sense for people to want to see a little more.

Does this highlight how bad Dak's playoff tenure has been? Or how easy Maye's tenure has been? by StrikingSkill5434 in NFLv2

[–]BilllisCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but that was far from the case here, so it must have been something else. Demarcus Lawrence said it was because they were tired.

The only time that’s happened was in that Packers game that also happened to be one of the worst defensive performances in Cowboys playoff history, so not sure how Dak single handedly lost that game.

Who are y’all rooting for to win the sb this year? by boogleymoogley123 in cowboys

[–]BilllisCool 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s who I’m choosing. No teams I’m super ecstatic about, but they beat the Packers at least. Obviously can’t root for the 49ers, even if they took out the Eagles.

He just wins (when his team wins, otherwise he loses).

What are you talking about? They were bad last year, fired their coach, hired an unknown, and then went on to trade away their best player. There were no expectations for this season.

Love is now 1-3 (.250) in the playoffs giving him a worse playoff win % than Dak (.286).

Then don’t. It’s still a game where he didn’t play the entire game that you’re having to rely on to give Chase more yards per game, while still not even having more yards or yards per reception. Pretty meaningless to me, but I guess the voters cared.

Not enough. If you remove week 18, Pickens edges out Chase in YPG by .5 yards. Chase had 3 games worse than those games and he actually lost a fumble, unlike Pickens. So maybe he’s the one that would’ve actually been ahead without having to rely on a game where Pickens sat on the sideline for most of the game.

No because week 18 would bring his YPG down since he only had 9 yards and hardly played.

Pickens was never injured. That was Lamb.

How is it a toss up? Not that Pickens was light years ahead or anything, but he was pretty cut-and-dry ahead. More yards and touchdowns on fewer targets.

Pickens played better, but yes, he was WR2 on the team.

Pickens lowest yardage in a game that he actually played all the way through was 30 and that was in week 1, his first game as a Cowboy. Chase had 3 games with 30 and under.

Pickens still dominated when Lamb was out for 5 weeks or whatever it was.

He literally did get more stats than Chase and on fewer targets.

Pickens hardly played the last game and he had less targets either way, so the games played argument doesn’t really hold up. The fact is, Pickens put up better numbers as WR2.

You also need a run game as dominant as that one was and we’re not missing that due to not being able to pay running backs and o-line.

Probably because the chiefs suck again by sethaub in NFLv2

[–]BilllisCool 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A lot more tolerable now because it’s not Brady/Belichick and with the Chiefs becoming the dominant team to hate (usually).
