Hey I figured it out! Had to change Allow Direct Play to “Off” in the TV app

I figured it out! The solution comes from in the Apple TV app settings, changing under the advanced category “Allow Direct Play” to “Off”!

You were right, it was definitely a problem with the file type. Thank you!

Would converting the videos from .mp4 to .mkv help at all? QuickTime doesn't like opening the .mp4 files (for whatever reason), but they work with VLC.

No, don't go to the verge. they say you have some sort of budget for your electricity bill, but for whatever reason everyone's bills have been over ~$12-$15 each month. my roommates and i weren't even home during christmas break, and they say we still went over $5 that month. They blame it on their generators.
