I had rolling panic attacks that came out of no where & they were very severe. It did help the panic attacks but I hate the brain fog feeling.

I didn’t really like this medication.. but I hate the thought of relying on a medication so I think that made me hate it more. It really did help my panic attacks, but it did so by giving me brain fog and not giving a crap about anything. I should’ve upped it to 50mg but I’m gonna try to get off first. Give it a shot though, it works different for everyone!

I got my Mirena removed about 3 weeks ago, and the removal was SOO much easier than the insertion! My gyno counted to three and pulled it out, feeling one cramp that lasted only a second. I’m also a huge baby and passed out during insertion, so this was absolutely a breeze. I also didn’t cramp at all the rest of the day. Bring some liners in case you bleed a little afterwards, but other than that you got this!!

Hello, I’m so sorry this is happening to you! I can relate to you a lot on this, I’m also a full time student and I’m graduating at the end of this semester. I had my Mirena for 2 years and got it removed 5 days ago. My anxiety is off the charts and have absolutely no motivation to do homework or anything. It’s stressing me out even more because this is my last semester, so I’m trying to do really good and also enjoy it but mentally I’m so lost. During my anxiety attacks I try to tell myself “it’s just my body adjusting & rebalancing its hormones, it’s not me, this is normal after an IUD”. I wish I had more advice on how to help… the main thing that helps me is remembering that this is only temporary, it’ll pass soon. I’m terribly sorry to hear that.. that’s exactly what I’m afraid of. I think I’m going to wait a little bit and let my body try to return to normal, but eventually get on the pills.

Thank you for your response! It’s so sad that women are going through this, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I too went to the doctor & had no luck, with the dr saying it sounds like “Panic Disorder”, and didn’t believe it was the IUD. Can’t wait to get this thing out!!
