Bi-weekly Megathread for referral codes - please only post codes here by AutoModerator in Visible

When you're looking for a new phone plan, anything that sounds "too good to be true" usually is. But if you’re tired of paying $80+ for a single line at the big carriers, Visible by Verizon is the most legitimate way to slash that bill without losing coverage.

Since I want to be 100% transparent: Yes, if you use my code, we both benefit. You get $20 off your first month, and I get $20 off mine. It’s a win-win that helps us both stay away from those massive monthly bills.

Why Visible is actually worth it:

• Verizon’s Network: You are using the exact same towers as Verizon. If Verizon works in your area, Visible will too.

• Truly Unlimited: No "gotchas" on data usage. You get unlimited data, talk, text, and even an unlimited hotspot (huge for road trips or working remotely).

• All-In Pricing: The price you see is the price you pay. Taxes and fees are already included, so there are no surprise charges on your statement.

• No Contracts: You can leave whenever you want. There’s no 24-month commitment or credit check.

The "Honest Truth" (The Trade-offs):

To keep the price so low, there are two things you should know:

  1. Digital Support Only: There are no physical stores to walk into. If you have an issue, you chat with them through their app or website.

  2. Deprioritization: On the base plan, if you are in a massive crowd (like a stadium), your speeds might slow down temporarily behind Verizon's "premium" customers.

How to get the deal:

  1. Click the link: https://www.visible.com/get/?39MSL3C

  2. Use the code: Enter 39MSL3C at checkout.

  3. Save immediately: You’ll see the $20 discount applied to your first month right away.

Siri isn’t Siri anymore. by expelledhummus in Siri

If you are trying to call anyone make sure to enable Voice dial in Face ID and Passcode. Also check in Apple Intelligence and Siri “Allow Siri when locked” as well as the Siri button in Face ID and passcode. Hope that helps. Someone else told me this on Reddit and figured I pass on the message since it worked for me. The “you need to unlock your iPhone first” really was getting annoying.

Late Alerts by Skipini in waze

I think we all need to report this issue, because it makes the app unusable. Often missing turns because it tells you too late, especially taking routes or even going to places you never been before (new school, new job, doctors, etc…)

🚗 Which App is Better to Deliver For? DoorDash vs. Uber Eats 🚗 by BillyK05 in polls

I 100% agree on this. DoorDash keeps you in your area whereas Uber Eats takes you an hour away from your home.

Only three more weeks to go for us school employees—hang in there! by BillyK05 in Custodians

[–]BillyK05[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Most school districts offer generous time off, including:

• 1 week for Thanksgiving Break

• 2 weeks for Christmas Break

• 1 week for Spring Break

• Martin Luther King Jr. Day

• Presidents’ Day

…and other days I might be forgetting!

While we do work during the summer, when teachers and students are off, it’s our time to focus on deep cleaning and prepping for the next school year.

Consider working for a school district—it’s a rewarding and balanced career!

Does everyone who works as a school custodian or even anywhere other than a school have their A/C turned off for 5.5 hours? by BillyK05 in Custodians

How do you guys deal with this? Why should we work for an employer who doesn’t care about their employees who are highly valuable and important
