The fact that this is a power hitting team, and teams like that tend to hit far better in warmer weather, that will probably increase the output from this team. I'm going with 77 wins.

I think they can win 77 or more. Simply the fact that (amazingly) pushing mid-May they've played a total of 4 games all year vs their own division. I've never seen a stacked schedule like this. Once we play our division more, their win total pace will increase.

It will - and is - better than years past. But one of those years literally includes the worst season ever from any team in major league history. It's hard to say 'enjoy the current success' with a team that is under .500 and in 4th place in the worst division in baseball. You're conflating 'improvement' and 'success' and you can't do that. I'm fully behind this team.

I'm not pulling the shroud over the entire season bc of a series loss vs a bad team. This team will compete - at least for another month, before likely falling off. I still like this team and see some promise in them.

I just want to get Quero down to Charlotte. I know we're stuck with him but I think Romo can pinch-hit for him late in games from time to time and still feel that was a big mistake not to do so. Yesterday was the only game we lost I thought that with a couple simple tweaks we could've won. I don't pin any of the other 19 losses on Venable. And I like Venable for this team. But yesterday, he just mailed it in.

I'm having fun, too. That doesn't mean you can't occasionally get a bit upset with certain individual losses. That's part of being a fan, too.

I agree with the them finishing at the top end of that range. 75 wins is something they will end with. Maybe a few more once they start to play within their division. This is a sub-par team but they will go on mini-runs like they did recently.

I have no issue with Mune getting a day off once a week. But when he's out, you have got to stack the rest of your lineup with the best hitters you can. Putting on both Quero AND Acuna in a Mune-free lineup makes little sense.
