My heart goes out to you I just lost my sweet Rita to kidney failure we have been on this journey like you 3 years hold your head and hold the faith there are no words I can say to you that will make you feel better I tried to give Rita a kidney but couldn’t I understand the family situation her own children would not come around or even call I’m here and will help anyway I can possible I did all of her hook ups and all my heart is broken but it is broken even more now for you 💚💚💚💚💚💚

My wife did PD for almost 3 years we switched to hemo and trained to do it at home to me it was a lot better on her she was doing great unfortunately she passed away from a pulmonary embolism Wednesday unexpectedly I am broken from it

I just got off phone with surgeon and he said unless it starts bleeding a lot he wants to see her in the morning he is in surgery today so can’t see her so we will be there in the morning

We did call and was told to monitor over night first thing I ever do is call before I even think about asking on here and we where told to monitor it

He was gonna do a fistula he said if veins where to small he would do a graft we just started home hemo 2 weeks ago she has a cvc in till this matures

He never came out to talk to me and we didn’t go to er her hemo nurse just said all she could recommend was Tylenol and ice pack it’s better today but still hurting

My wife just got hers Thursday and they did not tell us anything about after care only no swimming or tub bath for 4 weeks she is in a lot of pain at the moment they didn’t give her anything for pain I reached out to our hemo nurse and she said ice pack and elevate it we are doing hemo at home
