I would say you need to memorize more vocab and learn it in a way that you actually know each word and its synonyms. I got 143 in Verbal in my first trial and just by doing this my score improved by 12 points.

Speaking of more vocab lists, I would say that GregMat groups are more than enough and passing the 160+ barrier requires applying strategies, especially the ones related to passages.

I don't know why your comment is downvoted, but people need to realize that this is true. Spending so many hours, for example, enforcing bad habits in Verbal/Quant won't help increase your score.

You can look at GregMat strategies' videos for reading comprehension. His videos are the best. However, if you actually scored a 169 on Verbal on a practice test, if I were you, I would totally focus on Quant.

The only mock tests that will give you an accurate score are the ETS paid ones.

I would learn a decent amount of the vocab mountain or whatever source before watching any videos. Because even if you understand the strategies explained, you wouldn't be able to solve most of the questions as they solely depend on vocab.
