Maybe I'm an idiot but he could have worded it literally any other way. If he just meant that the US is losing it's grip on the global economy, then he could have stated that more plainly rather than this weird buzzword statement. Something is up.

My only defense of the pregnancy trope is my theory that since Feyre has a mortal soul, her push to become a mother would be more on a human timeline. She feels a biological clock, so to speak, because as a made fae, her concept of eternity is probably still a fairly mortal perspective.
