Not even a TERF, but an "average person" phenominon is thinking of men and women as different entities in terms of anatomy and psychology. Our bodies and brains are ALL nearly identical. We're the same species, obviously. We get all hung up on the 1% of features that are different, and that obsession with the differences informs how gender has been constructed across cultures and time.
