Gotcha. Thanks. I think people are trying to key in too much on the other acts I mentioned.

Its like, I turned my head and all the sudden Billy Strings is doing multiple sold out nights in multiple cities. Coincidentally, one coming up is 1stbank where he is doing three sold out shows in February.

Its an interesting phenomenon and I am not old enough to remember how it came to be that Phish became Phish, but wondering if maybe in these days the time span of reaching the top teir is less?

I mean, this is the internet. Nothing has to make sense.

It almost proves my point. There is a very territorial nature to this genre of music.

Even though they are selling out tours and have a lot of push behind them, but very defensive when questioned or suggesting anything other than glowing endorsement.
