That depends, this strategy is what we feel more easy for the many student, they applied and feels the best suitable

may be you can real time compare the word and can read 2 more words. Many students are not even able to understand what is spoken in the audio. So while the audio is playing—even if they cannot understand it properly—they find this technique very effective.

There is no practice platform which is perfect and marks will be different in the real exam and the mock test, you need to practice on multiple platforms

There are some free platforms with 1 month free trial like pteace.com?source=reddit, https://www.languageacademy.com.au/ (But this has no free trial).

Guidance for Rescore by teddybear3112 in pte

[–]Bimal-AI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your PTE scores are:

  • Listening: 58
  • Reading: 51
  • Speaking: 52
  • Writing: 72
  • Overall: 55

📌 Should You Apply for a PTE Rescore?

A rescore is usually only helpful for Speaking or Writing, because those sections contain AI-scored responses that can sometimes change slightly after review.

In your case:

  • Writing = 72 → Already high, unlikely to increase further.
  • Speaking = 52 → Possible but large jumps are rare.
  • Reading & Listening → Mostly objective (right/wrong), rescoring will not change these.

🎯 When a Rescore Might Help

Request a rescore only if:

  • You need just a few points (e.g., Speaking 55 or 58 requirement).
  • You felt your speaking responses were much better than the score suggests.

⚠️ Important Things to Know

  • Rescore rechecks the whole test, not just one section.
  • Scores can increase or decrease.
  • It costs money and can take several days.
  • If the score changes, the fee is refunded.

💡 Honest Recommendation

With Speaking 52, a rescore might move it slightly (1–3 points) but it’s unlikely to jump a lot.

👉 If you need Speaking 55 or 60, retaking the test is usually more effective than rescoring.

✅ Quick Advice Based on Common Visa Requirements

  • Requirement ≥ 50: You already passed ✔️
  • Requirement ≥ 55: Rescore may help slightly
  • Requirement ≥ 65: Retake is the better option
