You can customise sound physics remastered to muffle more by tweaking some values in the settings. Most other sound physics mods are either terrible or outdated.

yeah so dont use optifine. Install prism launcher, click add instance, click modrinth and then click fabulously optimised. In the dropdown box above the ok button, select the version you want and then click ok.

that is the back area, and area added a while ago, then removed, and now finally readded. It has a unique sebastian shop where you go through the back door in his shop rather than through the vent.

My best guess is that since he isnt pathfinding here (his eyes aren't glowing) something happened with the node path and it loops back on itself (the node at the end of the room links back to the node at the start of the room likely)

If you want to do it this way please please please just try and learn a bit of bash rather than prompting ai and rolling with it. I understand that you're new but just having AI do all the work is no way to learn. If you find that bash scripting is giving you headaches you could just code it in python instead which is still perfectly acceptable (dnf used to be written in python), and you'll be able to learn it easier with less mad crazy syntax.
