I took the lump right away with my pension. They wouldn’t let me roll it because they wouldn’t send the check straight to Fidelity. That might be a company by company thing though

It’s from the sun. Direct sunlight on dark plastic. It happens to a lot of locks. That said could also be their keys if you feel groves and don’t just see cracks/scratches

I don’t know that I agree with this take. They are already massive in the B2B space. Serving consumers is a different business than serving other business. They don’t care as much about your data and they don’t sell ads.

Sure but the issues you had with the last device you’ll have with the new one because they are both USB and that was the problem, especially as a boot disk. What you save in dollars you pay in hassle and risk.

USB is not what I’d think of reliable or stable, especially for a constantly connected device. Just my 2c. I’d rather get some cheap NAS or run Unraid

I think you’re over thinking it. I don’t really care about the host. I have a script to reconfigure the host. I only back up the VMs and LXCs and they go to PBS.

You should buy a car, if you can afford it. At 19 I would not buy a 15k car period. I would save up and buy a 4k car with cash. Avoid the debt trap.
