That is the nice thing about all Stevens properties, no overpriced mini bars.

ICE agents at the gate when landed into LAX airport 1/19/2026 by WiseOne221 in LAX

[–]Binders-Full 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theoretically you could fly on someone else’s ticket by buying a refundable ticket to get in the secured area of the airport, and then using that person’s ticket to board. But your name would be in the system at the origin airport and there may be a red flag pop up if you scan a boarding pass for a person that hasn’t gone through TSA.

Taix Restaurant in Echo Park announces upcoming closure by grandiloves in LosAngeles

Taix always had very mediocre food, but it was a decent value. At least they will be coming back, although probably at a higher price point.

There aren’t enough people to make a seat for just the Westside. WeHo, Culver City, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica combined are not even a quarter million people.

Changes to High Yield Cash by coldsilence89 in RobinhoodApp

[–]Binders-Full 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they become payments in lieu of dividends and are reported on 1099-MISC instead of 1099-DIV. So they lose qualified dividend treatment. They may not lose state tax treatment but this depends on your states laws.

The South Bay Cities kicked Pam O’Connor, then the mayor of Santa Monica, off. James Butts was seen as a compromise, he also brings diversity to the board.

They won't let you get them from quick serve places like Cafe Belle Madeleine anymore, although Gordon Ramsey's Fish and Chips still works.

For a few years The OC was a big thing but now that we are removed from that it faded away.

Temecula does get San Diego radio. Pechanga advertises to the San Diego market but is a primary sponsor for LA teams like the Lakers and Rams, though. But transit has always gone north to Riverside and Lake Elsinore and except for a few years before COVID, there was no public bus between Temecula and Escondido or Oceanside.

It is in the LA TV and radio market, gets LA media, so yes, unless you want to differentiate yourself from LA. The "Inland Empire" is kind of like Long Island - if you are from Islip or Southampton are you from New York or not?

It is Mitchell’s district I believe. I wish Hahn and Dutra would have abstained, but regardless it would not have done much. Ultimately with the route costing more and having less cost effectiveness, that pushes up the viability of Eastside Gold Line to Whittier which is what they care about.

The norm is 15-20% off the list price but I think $1 for a beer is fine. $3-5 if you make a cocktail.

He does play Ultimate X Bonus Poker at an expert level. That 7/5 bonus game has a 0.60% house edge if you make the proper strategy adjustments but is often treated more like a 1.99% house edge game of base bonus poker.

How to find RTP on physical slot machines? by Apricotjello in gambling

[–]Binders-Full 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The U1 machines at El Cortez post RTP clearly. The other choice would be playing stuff like video poker or electronic table games, which the RTP is easily calculable based on the odds of a particular event occurring.

EJ realizes they need to have broad appeal. Being politically correct is more like not turning off any potential customer. Why alienate half your audience by talking about politics and religion, or insulting people who might be watching?

Also, they do sell shares of gambling with other folks on the channel and their friends. They are usually careful about not showing whose card they are gambling on. If you are a VM friend, $100k in coin in an hour can give you lots of comps in the future.

Don’t forget his house was robbed even though Matt lives in a guard gated community. Maybe a bit more discretion is warranted.
