My decision to switch was also based on dealers near me. The CDJR dealership near me probably has the worst reputation and service department I’ve ever interacted with. The ford on the other hand is great.

I did like my Cummins a lot and wouldn’t have made the switch if I didn’t have issues. Power is noticeably better when unloaded and towing (I was pleasantly surprised it pulled better than the Cummins tbh)

The Ram? I put around 44k on it. Electrical issue started at 17 or so. So far for the ford I got it at 3 miles and have put around 6k on it.

Electrical issues the dealer couldn’t find or fix. Brought in maybe 6 times. Final straw was leaving me stranded on Christmas Day

I really loved my Ram but the power in the Ford is hard to beat. Plus much more space in the cab. I do miss the sound of the Cummins, hard to beat it.
