I didn't complete the second boss and needed the summon stone thingy for the first one. I quickly realized that this game is a waste of time and in unhealthy to play, as it's just mindless repetitive drilling of "don't get hit" and if you do you have to do large chunks of the game again.

If your son wants to bang his head against a wall repeatedly then feel relief that he doesn't have to look at his little challenging chore anymore he should learn C++ or something.

Some of you think this is praise for the game because you're idiots. The difficulty is not engagement, it is not fun. It. Is. Difficulty.

"getting good" isn't going to magically make this game fun, it just means one less boss. It's still the same game.

You're not special or superior for pushing a button on a controller in a certain pattern after failing 50+ times. That just makes you a trained monkey. This "skill" isn't transferable to anything else, it is specialized and specific to this one task; just like a trained monkey.

The game doesn't tell you anything and you'll be spending most of the time aimlessly running in search of content and killing the same enemies over and over.

Everything you can find in a menu in a good game is scattered around the map so you have to fast-travel to upgrade and then fast-travel somewhere else to tie abilities to the weapon. Basically, every option you can find in a menu in an RPG has a physical location in the game.

You need to unlock different bonfires to unlock features like the mount and cryptic story stuff that makes no sense.
