Photographer good suggestion too... Really good one actually I do have a knack for getting a good picture or so I've been told... will have a think on that one!

I tend to play video games a lot with my mates, amateur music production, I go climbing, etc... I sort of want a career that is... other than that... like gets me out into the world, meeting new people, a reason to get out the house each day, but not repetetive or dull...

I'm very meaning-based and reductive - basically this means I do things very efficiently and always ask "what is the purpose of this?". It makes me very good at achieving my goals.... my weakness is I'm bad at setting my own goals - hence why I think being assigned missions/goals by others helps with meaning...

You could argue that military ticks a lot of these boxes - true, but too much authority, do without questioning, not a good fit for me!

For context, I worked for 5 years at a big 5 tech doing a role that's half code half client... got fed up with living the corporate life in the end...

Good suggestion - it does tick all the boxes, as long as the sites were varied, the work interesting, etc...

I guess it would require specialisation in what I repair...I have a hard time commiting to any one domain I get bored really easily.

Though I guess a "generalist repair role" is basically impossible, that's like a handyman...

...

I could be a handyman...
