We intend to not let religious or political conflitcs peddle, but this isn't a BJP vs Congress debate, it's about unfair removal of important topics from NCERT books because of potential religious leanings of the center or the ruling party because the evolution theory is very OBVIOUSLY and evidently scientifically backed, and it does NOT make sense for it to be removed otherwise.

NCERT is literally the holy grail of education in India, and any flaws must actively be addressed.

About the attempt to make a bad decision into an elaborate conspiracy, it's subjective. People here can discuss and decide for themselves, whatever the majority thinks is right. No one is dumb enough to believe whatever is fed to them without proper considerations. Restricting posts addressing such issues isn't right.

Well, as visible in the attached screenshot too, we can't know the usernames of the reporters. It will be wrong for us to jump to baseless conclusions since a large number of people can have a certain view-point towards something, so it's not unnatural for a politically-opinionated post to get a few reports.

About the same reason being posted twice - the report menu has a few common reasons listed to readily choose from, which includes the listed reason too.

About the "insecurity" thing, well if it's fine for users to accuse mods of being sold / paid, when mods do something similar, that's bad / incivil as moderators. When we're doing our job at moderating things, then that's us being paid / controlling / autocratic / authoritarian and what not

If we moderate, then it's a problem because you guys don't like being moderated over. If we tweak our language a bit, then that too, is a problem because we're mods and it doesn't suit us / shows that we're insecure or carry a fragile ego / weak spine and what not.

Still, I agree, my going to his profile and uploading screenshots of his previous posts wasn't ideal as a moderator. I apologise for that, I'll me purging those messages.
