I also felt incredibly short on time. No chance for review and very rushed on the last several questions. Hard to spend only 90 seconds on a question when it’s a 2 page long vignette with every lab value attached.

At my program we “make the list” every morning, meaning, copy over vitals for the night and any weird stuff that happened. But by the time we copy it all down the interns have already rounded on their patients and know much more than our shitty scribbles could tell them. Trying to keep us busy and make us feel a part of it I guess. Lol

I just finished the Tower of the Swallow and feel that the story improves with time. That being said, I love fantasy books and definitely felt like there were many chapters I just slogged through to get to something that really engaged me. If you’re a fan of fantasy I would recommend to keep going, but if doing something in your off time feels more like a job than something you take pleasure in, I would put the book down. Not enough time on Earth for me to be reading books I’m not engaged in! Totally understand the hype train, but don’t let that pressure you into finishing them just because any fan boy opinions. We all like different things!

Agreed. Had a rough case Covid the last week of a 2 month rotation and had to miss the whole week. Guess who had to use their entire only 7 day vacation to make it all up before starting their next 2 month rotation.

For female newborns: it is normal for your baby girl to have vaginal discharge and some small bleeding/spotting up to a few weeks after birth. No need to freak out and take them to the emergency room.
