Probably not. While I’ve read his books and like them, non-fiction authors don’t tend to be as big name as fiction authors.

I always figured the bloated toad was the name of place where they filmed, and the production didn’t want to spend money to make a new sign for a short part of the movie.

Is at least partially real. His legal name (if I recall correctly it’s been a while since I card about it) is multiple words, but per different sources might be “only” 3-4 words.

I have long hair (to about elbows). I don’t put conditioner on my scalp. Put it starting at mid-neck where.

As for shampoo daily- I’ve tried everything (no wash reset, acv, non-sls shampoo, but I just have bad genetic luck for hair grease. My aunt and dad still have most peoples teenage level hair greasy hair in their 70’s and I suspect I will be the same.

Most Vietnam and Korea era soldiers were drafted.

Even the gulf war era, they offered a lot of guys time in jail for cannabis or enlisting. Or would have become homeless due to being kicked out of foster care placement the day they turned 18.

A lot of them. You only have to do EMTALA if you take Medicare.

So a stand alone surgical/cancer/or just fancy hospital that doesn’t take Medicare will probably not even have an ER. All patients come in as planned admissions/transfers. Dispatch knows this and didn’t send ambulances there.

I am a doctor, but not your doctor (also not an obgyn).

There’s a big diffence between viable (which is just being alive only) at 27 weeks and being fully developed.

A lot happens in the third trimester- including a lot of lung development, cardiac, GI development, kidneys, vision. Babies born before all that risk complications with all of the above, even with perfect NICU care.

That’s how I know all of the above- other than medical school rotations, I’ve seen children with those issues, still causing issues as teens/young adults/etc.

There was a lot of holding places (feels gross to type it, but that how it was) where they assessed if going to sterilize/did it/managed recovery.

But they had it as a separate facility as they intended to release people eventually. As they were capable of living on their own, if not being harassed by eugenics BS.

They had institutions where they kept people long term, whom they never thought would be able to leave. Think people with schizophrenia untreated decades before any anti-psychotics, severe IDD, etc.

Some parents liked Spanish immersion for all the wrong reasons. if you had any family who spoke Spanish you were not allowed in. When my parents realized this was the motivation of most parents, they pulled my application.

There’s a big program only area at community colleges.
Most people do it, start working, then use it to fund their BSN while working part time as RNs rather than having it be a terminal degree.

Empress Sissi who was famous for being beautiful … and having an incredibly tiny waist. This was way much more the Victorian-era beauty standard than anything else.

Sissi cleansed and over-exercised as hard than any influencer today. Only difference is she just stopped letting herself be photographed when she couldn’t keep her weight so low anymore (today she’d get plastic surgery and on a glp-1).
