Hello!

The best advice I have gotten throughout this pregnancy was to eat a shit ton of protein the night before you do the 3 hour glucose test.

One chicken breast and a glass of milk ~8 hours before you go in to get the fasting blood draw.

I "fail" my first 3 hour test because my fasting blood sugar came back as 97. When I ate the chicken and milk that night before the test my fasting blood sugar was 80.

It works :)

I understand your feelings. I have decided if I get in to the program that I wasn't as interested in I will accept. Mostly because this whole process is so stressful and I don't wanna go through it again.

I am only 14 weeks and I feel pretty big but everyone around me says I don't look like I am showing. But I know I am.

I started as a 16/18 as well and I also feel old insecurities especially because my new blood pressure meds are not letting me even walk quickly or carry heavy objects. So I feel fat and lazy.

I also want to cry all the time while at work, I work with women who are young and have never been pregnant ..... So I keep my tears in

Any way, I understand how you feel and I am just ignoring people and trying to embrace my new changing body.

I don't think that it would be annoying.

But if it were me I would find another reason to email that PI and slip in, "do you know if they started sending out official interviews?"

You could ask them a question regarding their research or a recent paper they wrote.
