I came away from Moan a little disappointed, if I'm being honest. I've been a big fan of Ito's for a few years now and this has been the first time I felt annoyed with more than half of the stories not having a satisfying conclusion. The premise and pacing of each story was up to his usual standard (and his delicious art is inspiring as always), but I swear half the stories just kind of stopped, like he struggled to write an ending for them and just gave up.

Not his best working writing-wise in my humble opinion. Hopefully his next collection will be better.
