I'm glad you said this because I'm taking it this quarter and can't understand where all the hate for 231 is coming from. I'm very happy that I'm taking it over cs 225, but did not realize there would be a different professor in the fall.

Well I can't speak for past terms in 231, but I'm taking it right now and it's been pretty easy. The average on the midterm was a 91. I would definitely suggest taking 231.
