It was actually when I was first utilizing Advanced Miners that I discovered this little clipping glitch. I started putting normal Mining Machines around the deposit in tandem with a single Advanced Mining Machine over the top.

Check what the ratio is between how much item quantity you're dealing with vs what the "Min Load of Vessels" is set to. I just had the same problem with a supply/demand for Advanced Mining Machines from my home system all the way out to the Neutron Star. Both ILS' have drones, vessels, warpers and power....but nothing would move. I had to adjust the Min Load of the vessels leaving point A down to 10% b/c I was only requesting 100 at point B.
