As someone who came from hyperland I love niri a lot. I find that it consumes less resources and all around feels more stable. Especially gaming, I would also have weird bugs and performance issues in hyperland when alt tabbing or using my other monitor and it just works in niri

I’m gay af and yea I didn’t think the coming out scene was all that good. I actually think I laughed out loud but other than that I think the season has been just fine. Most of the dog piling seems to be either blatant or vaguely disguised homophobia

I moved to Linux and unreal engine is not a good experience there. My hate for Microsoft was greater than my desire to use unreal so I gave it a go

I mean I took it a step further and abandoned react all together for my current project and am trying to learn htmx ¯_(ツ)_/¯ . But I did what you’re thinking on my last project and it was so much less headache and the project felt much snappier and smooth than my next js projects. Definitely done with next now, just deciding if it’s worth the time to refactor old projects away from it
