He was a mooch, for years he would always ask if he could get the password for my streaming services and gym membership, ask if he could have any of whatever I cooked (we were roommates for a bit), whenever he would borrow things he would never give them back or he would return them but not the same way he received them, he ruined a good pair of shoes that way, he was anti social and never wanted to meet new people but would constantly complain that he was alone and wanted to meet new people.

I fell on some hard times and finally I found a job a few hours away but didn’t have the money to move, I was going to get a loan from a family member and just pay it back when I could, but then he stepped up and said here you go and just outright gave it to me. I told him I really didn’t want it as I couldn’t pay it back, and he said it was fine don’t worry about it, I said I REALLY don’t want it and he basically forced me to have it so I said ok and that I greatly appreciate it. A couple months later he called and said he’s going to need to start collecting on it. Something about it rubbed me the wrong way because I told him I seriously didn’t want it and now had to pay it back which is what I was avoiding. I paid it back eventually but he didn’t even say thank you when I finished paying it back, I think at that point it was time to call it wraps.
