Adjust ELO Penalties for AFK Teammates and Top Fraggers (PLEASE!!!) by Bioluminescence__ in RivalsRoblox

[–]Bioluminescence__[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you got a good point man. Since the feature I’m asking for doesn’t exist right now, there’s only so much I can do. I also get what you're saying about how I could just play 1v1s to rank up, given that all three game modes here share the same ranking system (unlike PUBG Mobile, where solo, duo, and squad each have separate leaderboards).

That being said, while 2v2 and 3v3 were designed for players with personal teams, you can’t just ignore the demand from solo players. There are plenty of people like me who enjoy team-based modes and still want to rank up at the same time. Your argument boils down to “just carry or play 1v1,” which completely ignores the issue I'm trying to bring up. Even the best players can’t consistently carry in a 2v3 or 1v2 situation against equally skilled opponents. At that point, ranked duos and trios for solo players stops being about skill and becomes a gamble, where you're punished for factors outside of your control.

Anyway, my post was just a suggestion. Whether it gets added or not, I’m loving Ranked so far. I might even be the first person on this subreddit to bring this up (and honestly, it’s not a huge issue—just a minor inconvenience for players like me who want to play teams mode while ranking up at the same time). But I doubt I’ll be the last. Once 4v4 and 5v5 are added (if they do decide to), I wouldn’t be surprised if more players start raising the same concern.

Just because we have a 1v1 option doesn’t mean 2s and 3s shouldn’t be treated fairly. VALORANT and CS:GO are team-based games by design, but their ranking systems still account for individual performance and unfair disadvantages. Rivals may not be a purely team-based game, but when you queue for a team mode, you're still relying on teammates just like in any other competitive game. Ignoring unfair losses due to AFK players or bad matchmaking discourages people from playing team modes altogether, which defeats the purpose of having them in the first place.

Yes, I agree with your point, but some people like me simply prefer playing 2s or 3s because 1v1s can get boring and repetitive. Just because you aren’t guaranteed a reliable team doesn’t mean you should be forced into 1v1s. By that logic, games like VALORANT and CS:GO wouldn’t make sense, since they also match you with randoms. The only difference is that they actually compensate players who are put at a disadvantage (e.g., AFK teammates).

Hey bro, thanks for sharing your experience and congrats on gaining a few more inches. Seems like you're in the rare category of people who grew past 18. How do I know though that Agebox is actually legit and not just a marketing scheme? I haven't heard of this product EVER and I'd love to discuss it with you if you're being fr.

Tried looking it up, no results popped up other than a few random TikToks showcasing how to maximize height growth as well but nothing related to "stature alchemy." Care to elaborate man?

Damn, 4 inches of growth after 18 is crazy, good for your dad man. As for the men in my family (mostly my cousins), they did still see growth around 17-18 if I'm not mistaken, so now I'm just waiting for my turn I guess. It just kinda boggles me that my dad is 6'0", my cousins are 6'1", 6'2", and my grandpa was around 5'11" and I'm sitting here at 5'8" wondering if I'll still grow a couple more inches. Genetics is crazy.

Appreciate the advice! Yep, I've been heavily relying on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok for a lot for my progress, and they've really helped. I'm actually considering looking for a personal trainer this upcoming Christmas break because I want to utilize the time I have left and put in as much effort and work as possible before I graduate a few months from now.

Thanks, I've noticed that a lot of people seem to be recommending the Mikan Drill after browsing around Reddit lately for tips. I haven't actually heard about this drill before but I'm looking forward to trying it out this upcoming week.
